ServiceNow offers three certification paths, namely:

Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)

This test assesses your ability to configure, administer, and deploy ServiceNow. This test also provides the foundation for any advanced courses or certifications that you may need in ServiceNow. It consists of 60 multiple-choice questions.

Prerequisites: You must have ServiceNow experience for at least six months and a basic understanding of system administration, database concepts, and IT operations.

Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

This certification test falls under the implementer path and consists of 6 specialized certifications linked with different ServiceNow products. This test is all about 60 multiple-choice.

Prerequisites: ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator, ITIL v3 Foundations certification, and at least two end-to-end ServiceNow deployment projects are required.

Certified Application Developer (CAD)

This certification exam measures your ability to develop database and business logic applications. You must be able to write, test, debug, and troubleshoot client-side and server-side scripts and manage, secure, automate, and automate multiple products.

Prerequisites: None

Each ServiceNow Certification exam will last 90 minutes and will cost $150 to take.

Yes, it is essential to know the entire learning path. It would help if you had a complete understanding of all the topics covered in that specific certification.
If you don't clear the certification on the first attempt, don't feel discouraged. You will still have three more attempts to clear the certification exam. You have to pay $75 through the web assessor site and can attempt the certification three times.
If you could not succeed in the first four attempts, you must revisit the learning path and course once again. You have to wait for three days for the first failure and a 14-days waiting period for the second and third attempts. You will receive a voucher after paying the requisite fee.
After July 1 st , 2018, the rule states that it is impossible to apply for certification without completing the tang path.
ServiceNow updates are released after every product release. Each certification update will be available after 15 days after the product release.
After the new product release, each certification will require a short-term question delta exam which is usually available 15 days after the latest product release to keep the certification alive. If the candidate fails to pass the exam within 90 days, then the certificate expires.
You can register on the ServiceNow Web assessor site for delta exams after the product availability date. The delta exams are available for 90 days after the release.
The delta exam is for 30 minutes.
Micro-certifications can be taken directly and do not require a voucher code.
